Single  Cylinder Oil Engine This single cylinder  National oil engine was built by the National Gas Engine Co. Ltd. The engine  was used at the Plaza Cinema, Bolsover. Coupled to a dynamo, it generated  110V D.C. electricity for the arc lamps of the cinema projectors and for  general lighting. The engine is situated at the end of the Stable Block. It used to be called “RIZ”
